We took our traditional Retro Noserider and pulled in the nose/tail, added some rocker, and softened the rails. As a result, this board turns well in the pocket and provides plenty of glide for noseriding. Ideal for all conditions including both beachbreaks and pointbreaks.
I am a beginner surfer and I have never caught that many waves in a day with this surfboard. Great dimensions and excellent customer service. I am in love with my very first surfboard and I couldn't have bought a better one!
The guys at Paragon went above and beyond with the service and boards are perfect.
Will you get people oogling over them at blackies? No. Will you get a bitchen rippable board for half the price? Yes.
My family and I are stoked!
Thanks Paragon!
I love this board! I've been riding it all summer long and I'm stoked. I originally started on an Odysea (spelling?) softtop and decided it was finally time for a fiberglass board. So far I've taken it to Malibu, Doheny, and San 'O. I really like how light and strong it is.
The guys at Paragon were really nice and answered all my questions. I'm thinking it's time that I try one of their smaller boards. I've looked around and it seems like they have the best prices. I also like how quickly it came from Amazon.
I purchased this to teach my kids to surf and use it on days where waves are small. Easy to paddle out into the surf. Easy to catch waves and maneuver with this. Easy to get up and balance on this board. The width and thickness of the board is very proportional are pretty good. Board shaped well. Very light to transport even on my bike with a side rack.
Great looking board. Great shape. It's 13F today and the water is about 40F. I got my retro about a month ago, and can't wait to try it out. There are guys out there, but too much suffering for me just getting into the water at these temps. So, I am looking forward to the spring to get on this thing. Will get back to you then.
